"Now he loves to go to school..."
Blue Jay Academy has changed my sons life. He never wanted to go to school and was always being kicked out and now he loves to go to school, he gets upset when he has to miss a day. The teachers are well trained and can handle all of his medical conditions without making them worse. The teachers treat the kids like their own.

"All of my childs teachers and assistants have been wonderful..."
Blue Jay Academy is the best choice in the area for children with special needs. The staff is amazing, they have created a warm and safe atmosphere that enables children to grow and learn. All of my childs teachers and assistants have been wonderful and have helped him develop socially and academically in a huge way.
"You have really helped him enjoy being at school..."
I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone at Blue Jay Academy for making my grandson feel comfortable and welcome! You have really helped him enjoy being at school and he now looks forward to going each and every day!
"I just wanted to give the Blue Jay staff praise..."
My name is Elizabeth and my grandson attends Blue Jay Academy. I just wanted to give the Blue Jay staff praise. Before finding out about this school I was fighting and losing battle to get my grandson the help he needed to keep progressing. My daughter actually tagged me on Facebook about an event that was being hosted at a church by me to help give resources to parents with children with disabilities, this is where I learned about Blue Jay Acadmey. I did not hesitate to call Stacey and set up a time to get my grandson in. The public school teachers where having a difficult time keeping him engaged, his speech therapist discharged him due to his aggression so I was willing to try anything to help. My grandson has attended public school since he was 3 and he is 5 now. It wasn't until he started attending Blue Jay Academy that I started to see improvement. His speech is a lot better, he is not echoing as much as before and he is almost completely potty trained! I cannot express how greatful I am to have my grandson attending Blue Jay and I reccommend it to every parent I come across that is hitting that same brick wall I was hitting not long ago. Thank you for all that you guys do and may the good lord bless you in every way for the care you give his special children.
"Qualified teachers that really do care about their students..."
My daughter Madison has been going to Blue Jay Academy for 3 years and each and every year their curriculum gets better. I have seen the growth in the school and the hiring of qualified teachers that really do care about their students well being and education. The staff also has the willingness to work with the parents in meeting the needs of the students.
"The Blue Jay staff and teachers make everyone feel like family..."
The teachers at Blue Jay Academy are great with Aden and I see it with the other kids too. Aden has learned a lot at Blue Jay Academy, he still has his out busts and mean spells but at home we get a little relief when he is at Blue Jay. He loves going to school unlike when he was going to a public school. Aden loves Megan, Stacey and the other teachers. The Blue Jay staff and teachers make everyone feel like family while they are visiting Blue Jay Academy and when there is an event or field trip.

"It was the BEST choice I have ever made..."
The owner & staff are AWESOME! They totally take into consideration each of my child's needs. It was the BEST choice I have ever made for my autistic, non-verbal son, to put him in Blue Jay Academy!
"She has been much happier and so have I..."
I transferred my daughter to Blue Jay Academy about a month into the school year. She was struggling in her previous school, and it was obvious that her situation needed to change. It took a week or two for her to settle in, but it was so worth it! She has been much happier and so have I! I won't say that it has been perfect, but the teachers have been able to meet her unique needs, and, as a result, my peace of mind has finally been restored this year!

At Blue Jay Academy we are invested in the future of your child(ren) and we are excited to offer our Excel Transition Work Program to our Blue Jay students. This program is extremely vital; for youth with special needs and disabilities who want to be gainfully employed, it is critical that they receive services to ensure they are adequately prepared and ready to adapt to the competitive workplace environment.
The goal of the Excel Transition Work Program is to prepare each student for employment. We will accomplish this by providing real life work experiences combined with training to help them make a successful transition from school life to a productive adult life. Throughout the school year, the students selected for this program will work on a variety of skills that focus on things like team building, work place safety, interviewing and much more.
In turn, we will provide students with a transferable vocational education and relevant social skills development. Ultimately our focus will be to offer our students with real world, hands-on training through a unique opportunity to explore a number of different career paths.
